Nebraska softball junior Jordy Bahl earned numerous awards leading up to the 2025 season. She was tabbed No. 2 on D1 Softball’s Top 100 Players to Watch list, along with being named the No. 2 pitcher to watch. She was dubbed a Softball America Preseason First-Team All-American and was No. 9 on Softball America’s Top 100 Players to Watch for the 2025 season.
The Papillion, Neb., native, was the only Big Ten player to be named a First-Team All-America and one of only four Big Ten players named a preseason All-American.
Bahl enters her second season with the Huskers after suffering a season-ending injury in NU’s first game of the 2024 season. Prior to coming to Nebraska, the junior competed for Oklahoma, where she was a two-time NFCA First-Team All-American and two-time Big 12 Pitcher of the Year. She was also the 2022 National Freshman of the Year. Bahl owns a 1.06 career ERA, along with a .350 batting average.
Bahl and the rest of the Huskers will open their season at the NFCA Leadoff Classic from Feb. 6-9 in Clearwater, Fla.
