Christopulos, Clinton Claim CGA Weekly Awards

Lincoln, Neb.- The College Gymnastics Association announced Thursday that graduate student Taylor Christopulos and freshman Caden Clinton won awards for their performances at the Winter Cup. Christopulos was named Gymnast of the Week, and Clinton was named Rookie of the Week. 

Christopulos was named Gymnast of the Week for his efforts, including winning third place in the all-around competition. He also recorded top-ten finishes on the pommel horse, still rings, high bar and vault. 

Clinton earned Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight week, as he was named Big Ten Rookie of the Week last week. At the Winter Cup, the Texas native took a ninth place finish on p-bars and pommel horse and top 20 finishes on high bar and floor.
