Huskers Topple Ottawa

The Nebraska beach volleyball team won its fifth match in a row with a 5-0 victory over Ottawa on Tuesday at the Alloy Strength Complex.

All five Husker pairs, as well as the exhibition pair, won their matches in straight sets.

Bergen Reilly and Teraya Sigler started the day with a 21-4, 21-10 win, and Andi Jackson and Harper Murray followed with a 21-8, 21-12 victory. Rebekah Allick and Olivia Mauch clinched the match with a 21-7, 21-12 win as the No. 3 pair. Laney Choboy and Skyler Pierce won 21-9, 21-11, and Maisie Boesiger and Taylor Landfair finished the sweep, 21-9, 21-7. Campbell Flynn and Keri Leimbach won their exhibition match 21-18, 21-5.

The Huskers (5-3) will host Park on Friday at Noon at the Alloy Strength Complex. The match will be streamed on B1G+.
