Huskers Set to Host New Hampshire on Saturday

The No. 19 Nebraska women’s gymnastics team (4-11, 3-6 Big Ten) will be back at home as the Huskers host New Hampshire on Saturday, March 8. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. (CT) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center and will be streamed on B1G+.

Saturday’s matchup marks the first meeting between the two schools. Doors will open at 6 p.m. (CT) and fans can purchase tickets here. It will be Nebraska’s Stick It to Cancer Meet, and there will be a face sticker giveaway for fans.

Last Time Out
NU scored a 196.675 to take second in the Big Fours meet on Sunday in Columbus, Ohio. The Huskers were victorious over No. 23 Ohio State and Rutgers, but fell to No. 3 UCLA.

Emma Spence earned the vault title with a season-high 9.900, while also putting up a season high on bars with a 9.925. Isabel Sikon notched a career-high 9.925 on beam for NU, while Ayzhia Hall also scored a season-high 9.900.

Scouting the Competition
New Hampshire is ranked No. 53 in the Road to Nationals Standings, with a NQS score of 194.295. The Wildcats are 9-13 on the season and 2-2 in the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL).

Aine Reade won the all-around for UNH in its most recent competition, scoring a 37.975 in a tri-meet against Clemson and Texas Woman's University.
