Huskers Top Iowa State, 3-1

The Nebraska soccer team topped Iowa State 3-1 in a spring soccer match in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday afternoon. 

The Huskers started with Kayma Carpenter, Ava Makovicka, Sadie Sant, Emma Prososki, Ella Rudney, Sadie Waite, Taylor Yablonski, Reese Borer, Lauryn Anglim, Ella Guyott and Cece Villa. 

The teams played three 30 minute periods, and the Huskers led 2-1 with Rudney and Makovicka tallying finishes in the first two periods. Then Charlie Wistrom scored a goal in the final period, off an assist from Rudney, for the 3-1 victory.
