Freshman (2024-25)
Riley Dunn shot in five matches for NU during the fall portion of the season before being sidelined by an injury. She owns career-bests of 583 in the smallbore, 588 in the air rifle and 1,170 in the aggregate.

Before Nebraska
Dunn was a four-year all-conference honoree for high school varsity rifle at McGuffey High School, and was the 2024 Pennsylvania Interscholastic High School Rifle State Champion in the three-position smallbore. She qualified for the 2024 Junior Olympics, and her junior rifle competition team was Precision Standing Air Rifle and Indoor Metric Position Smallbore national champions at the NRA Junior Team Sectionals. Her Mason Dixon competition team placed second in the 2024 Pardini Rifle and Pistol Junior Air National Competition.

During the 2022-2023 school year, Dunn was the WPIAL Pennsylvania individual championship gold medal winner for rifle. She is the third student-athlete to win multiple WPIAL individual rifle titles. She finished as the runner-up in the Pennsylvania A High School Interscholastic Junior Air Rifle and Smallbore Championships in both 2022 and 2023.

She was the 2023 NRA Junior Air Rifle Champion, the 2022 NRA Open Indoor Conventional Position Smallbore Rifle Women’s National Champion and winner of the Sea Girt Trophy. She is a three-time Junior Olympic athlete for both smallbore and air rifle, and most recently competed at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in April of 2023. She was one of the top fifteen athletes in the country to be invited to the 2022 American Legion National Air Rifle Championship. Dunn earned her Junior Distinguished Badge for three-position air rifle through the Civilian Marksmanship Program and earned her four-position smallbore rifle Distinguished Badge through the NRA. She also has multiple podium finishes in various CMP matches held at Camp Perry.

Personal
The daughter of Jeffrey and Nicole Dunn, Riley was born on June 28, 2006. She plans to study criminology and criminal justice at Nebraska.

Dunn on Nebraska: “"I chose Nebraska because not only is the campus and surrounding area beautiful, but the opportunities within the criminology major are exactly what I’m looking for academically. In addition, I will also get to compete on the Nebraska Rifle Team with some of my best friends in the sport!”
