Matthias Reiber is in his first season as an associate athletic trainer with the Nebraska football team in 2024.
Reiber came to Nebraska after three years as the head football athletic trainer at Ohio University (2021-24).
Prior to Ohio, Reiber spent two seasons as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (2019-21). He also spent time at Eastern Kentucky University working with the football team and the men's and women's tennis programs (2016-19). Reiber began his career at Bowling Green State Universityas a graduate assistant athletic trainer working with football and track and field (2014-16).
Reiber earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Kansas. He went on to pick up his master's degree in sports administration from Bowling Green State University.
Matthias, a native of Lawrence, Kansas, loves to spend his free time hunting, fishing and traveling.
