Parker Smith joined Nebraska Athletics as an Event Operations Specialist in July of 2024. He oversees game operations and event management for track and field and softball. He also assists with volleyball, football, and other NSAA events.
Smith previously served the Huskers as an Event Operations Intern during the 2023-24 season where he helped coordinate and staff various Nebraska events.
Prior to Nebraska, Smith was a student worker for University of Nebraska-Kearney Athletics. He assisted with season ticket sales, management and operations of various UNK athletic facilities and oversaw facility operations for men's and women's basketball, track and field and softball.
Parker, a native of Sumner, Nebraska, earned his bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in marketing and management from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in May of 2024.
